Local Council Chairperson Remanded Over Cattle Theft

A Local Council One Chairman in Bukedea district has been remanded to Bukedea government prison for allegedly stealing two bulls from a resident of his own cell. Daniel Osekel, 53 years, LC1 Chairman of Auje village, Kasoka parish in Bukedea Sub County in Bukedea was sent to prison on remand by Julianah Chimono, the Grade One Magistrate Bukedea

 Osekel was arrested for allegedly stealing two bulls worth three million shillings belonging to Sam Ochi of the same village.

the Bukedea Grade One Magistrate adjourned the hearing of the case to 23rd of August, 2022 for the court hearing.
