The Bulambuli District Chief Administrative officer Aloysius Aloka has asked the government to

make the UPE and UCE schools more conducive if they are to outcompete the mushrooming private schools and restore the old glory among Government schools.

Aloka said that cross transfer among the teachers is one of the methods that might improve on the educations standards since most of the teachers today are only recycled within their home areas hence less supervision and pressure to work harder as compared to the private schools.

Hon. Robert Musoke the MP Budyope West constituency in Buyende District and a member in the Parliamentary education committee however disputed the ideology of cross transfer saying that this might not work due to the new Government policy on decentralization of civil servants employment at District levels.
Bulambuli District is set to close over 30 private schools in this year’s second term for failure to meet the maximum required standards per the law.
