The newly elected cultural leader for Bugwere Kingdom, Geoffrey Wayabire has called for unity among his subjects and those opposed to his leadership saying that he is to start from where his late father Chrysostom Wayabire stopped from. The late was the first leader of the kingdom.
Wayabire while meeting a group of journalists at Wash and Wills hotel in Mbale yesterday evening noted that he is aware of those opposed to him during the recently concluded elections for Ikubania that saw him ascend to leadership but it’s time to bury the hatchet and focus on the bigger picture.

Wayabire is the third person to claim the Ikumbania seat since the death of his father. Joshua Wilber Musimami was also recently voted and allegedly sworn in as Ikumbania while Balaam Mubbala claims to be the cultural leader of Bagwere as well.
