Last week the Kampala Capital City Authority executive director
Dorothy Kisaka revealed that they are planning to allow a number of hawkers to operate in the taxi parks and also register and allow only 7000 boda boda cyclists to operate within the city which the opposition is questioning.
Addressing a news conference at parliament the shadow minister for Kampala Abubakar Kawalya noted that the criteria that is going to be used to select those who will be allowed to operate in the city is not clear, calling for the need to engage the elected leaders.
