The FUFA Drum Quarterfinal draw has been held on Monday morning 29/8/2022 at FUFA house in Mengo.
The draw paired defending champions Acholi against inaugural winners Buganda. In the round of 16, Acholi eliminated Bunyoro while Buganda overcame Kigezi.
Bugisu will lock horns with Lango in the Quarterfinal. Lango eliminated Ankole while Bugisu eliminated Sebei in the previous round 16.
West Nile who beat Karamoja at the round of 16 stage have been drawn against Kampala Province. Kampala saw off Bukedi at the round of 16 stage.
The other quarterfinal will be between Teso and Tooro who powered past Busoga and Rwenzori respectively at the round of 16.
Meanwhile, the first legs will kickoff on the weekend of 9th September.
32 goals were scored at the round of 16 stage. Bugisu’s Usama Arafat is the leading scorer with 4 goals followed by West Nile’s Ibrahim Dada who has 3 goals.
