Police in Bukedea have started investigations into the alleged rape and defilement case of an 18 years old Gateway bus customer.
The incident happened on Thursday at about 02:00 AM at Gateway bus offices in Bukedea.
It’s alleged that an 18-year girl (whose identity shall not be disclosed at her behest) was allegedly raped and defiled by Kedi Hussein an employee of gateway Bus Company, Bukedea branch.
Kedi currently in police cells is a resident of Bukedea town council in Bukedea District.
According to SP Oscar Gregg Ageca the PRO for Police East Kyoga, It’s assumed that on the 25th/August 2022 at 01:00AM the victim arrived in Bukedea town from Kampala and sat at the verandah of gateway offices where the suspect took her inside the office of gateway bus in the pretext of helping her.
He notes that, while in the office, the suspect locked the office and forced the victim into unprotected sex with him and after completing this despicable act, the suspect opened the office and walked away leaving the victim in office.
